For this project I had to create a digital illustration in a chalk style for the front of coffee packaging. It was loose in direction with me having to come up with the subject and the imagery of the illustration.

My Process
To start off I came up with a few sketches for different concepts of what the illustration would be. Then choosing one after some feedback and reworking a more refined version.
Rough Sketch Ideas
I then moved onto creating digital line art for the piece working out all the placement and the whole look of the piece before colouring it.

I then moved onto creating colour composites to test out different tones and colour combinations. Then I moved onto creating the final coloured version with the one I thought worked best which was the green and pink. Finally I finished off by doing the final colouring using multiple layers and working on creating a nice composition that popped and felt like the name "mystical".
